How it all started...
It was a sunny day. I decided with my youngest daughter Cory to take a walk along the sandy beach of Green Turtle Cay, a beautiful small island in Abaco, Bahamas. Suddenly something caught my daughter's attention. She reached out and picked up the most gorgeous sea star I've never seen in my life!
Cory was so excited and as every child would, she asked me to bring it home. Of course I explained to her that sea stars are living creatures and they need to be left in the ocean or otherwise they will die.
I showed her the little feet underneath and the small opening that allow sea stars to move around and feed themselves. She was so interested about the story.
The same night I couldn't sleep, so I got out of bed, grabbed my laptop and started to write...
This is how "Happy" became alive in my thoughts...as a friendly sea star, so interested to discover a new world out there...!
A new fantastic journey has just begun...
